Problem

Backend teams often update API schemas or delete endpoints without realizing they are breaking downstream frontend consumers. Discovering these broken contracts during runtime or late in CI pipelines creates friction and downtime.

Solution

Sentinel integrates directly into GitHub PRs to automatically diff OpenAPI schemas. It uses Abstract Syntax Trees (ts-morph) to pinpoint the exact TypeScript files affected by the breaking change, and generates a human-readable LLM summary (via Groq)—blocking the PR before bad code is merged.
